Eligibility Requirements
Application for qualification as beneficiary of the Tony Ndah Foundation Aid opens in May and closes in July of each year. All applications are to be made through the website. Applicants who are unable to personally prepare and submit their applications can do so by their Guardian or Next-of-Kin. We require that the information of the Guardian or Next-of-Kin and their relationship to the applicant be submitted alongside the application.
Qualification decisions are made within three (3) weeks of application, and disbursements are made one (1) month after qualification or at the resumption of the school year, or the beginning of the skill acquisition training, whichever is earlier. For applications to tertiary institutions, qualification decisions are made within four (4) weeks of application, and disbursements are made one (1) one month after qualification or at the resumption of the school year, whichever is later.
Applicants are advised to take these time duration into consideration in deciding when to submit their applications.
Once an application is received, it would be sent to our Screening Committee. The Screening Committee considers the documents sent and make a decision as to whether the applicant meets the basic requirements. If they are so satisfied, then the applicant is invited to take the screening test. A qualification decision is made based on the applicant meeting the basic requirements and their performance in the screening test.
Where the number of successful applicants exceed the budget provision for a given year, payment to them will be deferred to the following budget year.
